For any tour to Bhutan, early reservation is advisable to secure flight bookings and hotel rooms.
Why we take care of these two?
- Limited flight (DrukAir & Bhutuan Airlines only) in Bhutan gives big challenges for tour operators to get air tickets as desired
- Limited good hotels in some parts of the country is also challenges faced by the tour operators to book rooms for the tourist if reservation is not done early
Booking arrangements must be completed in minimum 6 weeks in advance, but for cultural tours during festivals, arrangements must be completed minimum 8 weeks in advance. The spring and autumn festivals are our peak times for tourism, and without early reservations it can be difficult to confirm flights and hotels. For trekking groups, booking arrangements should be completed at least 10 weeks in advance, as this activity requires detailed forward planning.
